Fauleens holds two burnt mounds and a rath within a hundred metres, proving the site suited human ambition long before modern fences. The main mound rises six to eight metres across, built from angular stone fragments trapped in dark brown soil beside a flowing drain. People may have heated water for cooking, cleaning or ritual, then dumped the spent rock into a pile that time forgot.

In pasture, adjacent to a NW flowing drain/stream. This low, irregular rise (diam. 6-8m) is composed of angular stone fragments in dark brown soil. It may be a burnt mound.
