Located towards the bottom of a SW-facing slope and on the E side of a SE-NW valley, but the stream is c. 150m to the SW. A kidney-shaped area of burnt and broken stones and black earth (dims. 15m NW-SE; 10m NE-SW) with an opening at NE is visible when the area is ploughed. A burnt mound; likely Bronze Age. Its significance lies in its association with ritual or industrial activity, common in prehistoric settlement contexts.
