Burnt mound in Clooncorban

In rough grazing covered with rushes, on a NW-facing slope. Heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil are scattered intermittently on the surface of a roughly rectangular area (c. 14m E-W; c. 12m N-S). There is another possible burnt mound (CO121-105----) c. 150m to the W. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
