In 1997, human remains were discovered at a depth of c. 1m. during construction work on top of a small sand and gravel ridge. The site of the burial had been almost completely destroyed and the remains were no longer in context. No associated artefacts were recovered. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, Vol. 2, 484)
