Tom Coffey called it a grave on the steep NW slope, but nobody has found it since 1999. It may still hold bones beneath rough pasture, waiting for someone brave enough to look twice.

On the steep NW slope of a ridge in rough pasture, with wide views SW-N-NE. Listed as ‘Cairn’ in the RMP (1996), on the basis of information from Tom Coffey who also described it as ‘Grave’ (1994, SMR file). The monument was not located in an inspection of the area in 1999. A cist burial, likely dating to the Early Christian period, possibly associated with a ringfort in the vicinity; its significance lies in providing evidence of early burial practices in the region.
