What is recorded here
Death came quickly in Ballydonnellan West, likely from fever or violence, forcing a hurried burial before dawn. The dead may have been someone everyone loved or someone no one spoke about, but the soil swallowed the difference. What is certain is that the land kept the body and the living continued, carrying the loss into every choice they made after.
