What is recorded here

Under a granite boulder in Ballybit Little, a food vessel waited for discovery until 1862. It probably marked a burial, suggesting someone departed while believing the dead still hunger or need company. The stone hid that much longer than anyone expected, preserving a small act of care long after the hands that placed it forgot the world above.
