What is recorded here

Mortons holds one of the largest collections of prehistoric and medieval burials in Ulster. The site gives life to the dead and shows how people marked loss long before written records. Its scale suggests a settled community that returned repeatedly to the same place. The field still belongs to memory, even when the names are gone.
