What is recorded here

Situated in gently undulating countryside beside a roadway. An earthen mound (dims. 21.5m N-S x 28m E-W; H 3m) containing one visible uninscribed grave-marker. No other featurs visible. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
