Templetown Mausoleum stands in the old Templepatrick burial ground, County Antrim, built by Sarah Cosby for Arthur Upton after his sudden death in 1768. Robert Adam designed the small neo-classical chamber, placing funerary urns and weeping medallions around a space meant to hold love, loss and memory. The Upton family had lived at Castle Upton since 1625, and the mausoleum still marks that long line of ownership, grief and pride.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as BURIAL GROUND - KILLEEN. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
