What is recorded here

Carrigroe is an unmarked burial ground where a low earthen bank still surrounds a forgotten field. The southern opening may hide a man-made passage, inviting wonder rather than certainty. Sheep graze above the dead, turning sacred memory into ordinary pasture.

In pasture, on E-facing hillside. Tradition of "cillin" in sub-rectangular field (c. 55m SW-NE; c. 40m NW-SE) enclosed by earthen bank (H c. 1m). No burial markers visible in overgrown interior; tradition of opening to S, possible Man-made underground passage (CO135-071002-).
