Burial ground in Caherapheepa

Within a cashel (GA104-074001-) named 'Caherapheepa'. According to Redington (1916a, 52), 'the garth was once used as a graveyard and when afterwards it was cultivated, numbers of pipes were dug up. Placing pipes on graves was a well-known custom and Redington suggests that the name of the cashel may have originated from this custom. No visible surface trace of the graveyard survives.
