Ballynakillmore is a rural place in County Limerick, Ireland. In 1840, a burial ground was reported there, but it had already been dug up and cultivated about ten years earlier. The exact spot is no longer known, leaving behind only a ghost of a field where the dead once lay beneath the soil.
In 1840 it was reported that 'it is said that there was a Cill or burial ground in Bally-na-Killmore townland until about ten years ago, when it was dug up and cultivated' (OSL vol. 2, 19).
