Half a kilometre west of Ballynacarriga, a triangular burial ground sits on a north-facing slope above Dursey Sound. Its edges are still visible: a stone boundary on the northeast, a low earthen bank to the south, and a shallow fosse with a smaller outer bank to the west. At the southeast end of the fosse, two upright stones stand apart like a doorway, though no grave markers remain inside. Local tradition calls it a burial ground, and the shape of the place makes that belief easy to imagine.

In rough pasture, on gentle N-facing slope, overlooking Dursey Sound. Triangular area (29m NNW-SSE; 23m E-W; 22m NNE-SSW) defined on NE side by stone field boundary; to S by earthen bank (H 0.6m); to WNW by fosse (D 0.7m) with external low bank (H 0.4m). At SSE end of fosse possible entrance (Wth 1m) marked by two upright parallel stones (H 0.3m and 0.6m). Interior slightly raised; surface uneven; no grave markers noted.
