Burial ground in Ardacrow — Report the wrong picture

Ardacrow is a level triangular patch of ground where five soldiers of MacCarthy Reagh were buried after an attack on followers of O'Sullivan Bere. The men may have fallen during a border clash, their bodies carried quickly to this quiet junction before the fighting moved on. Nothing visible remains above soil now, yet the shape of the place still holds the weight of that sudden loss.

In a level triangular area (c. 15m N-S; c. 9m E-W) at the junction of three roads. In the 1940s it was recorded that five soldiers of MacCarthy Reagh were buried here after an attack on the followers of O'Sullivan Bere (ITA).
