What is recorded here

Mortuary temples and burial chambers dot the western edge of Ireland, yet this is the first recorded in County Galway. The land itself may hold chambers built for the dead, waiting beneath grass or stone. What is known is that the ground is marked for burial, and the rest belongs to memory, myth or the patience of archaeology.
