Burial Ground

Urlaur holds a court tomb where ancient people laid out stones to mark the boundary between the living and the dead. The official record names the structure but withholds its history, leaving the identities of the buried and the exact age of the building unknown. It stands beside a fifteenth-century Dominican friary, suggesting the land has continuously received the dead from several different eras. The missing details do not weaken the place; they refuse the temptation to reduce human loss to a date or a label.
