Burial Gd remains a living graveyard on Chapel Lane in Skibbereen, where most dead are still unnamed beneath plain stones. The place holds many more people than its markers admit, and that absence may be its deepest truth.
On Chapel Lane, E side of Skibbereen. Sub-rectangular area enclosed by stone wall. Graveyard still in use. Majority of burials marked by uninscribed grave markers. (Zajac et al. 1995, 90)
