Bullaun stone

What is recorded here

Price (1957, 307) mentions a large granite boulder on the townland boundary with Garryduff, and on the county boundary, which had three bullaun basins cut into it. This may be a piece of rock art. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 December 2008
