What is recorded here

Kinahan recorded in 1868 that a bullaun stone lay buried beneath a heap of stones immediately south of the Portacarron church. The stone has never been located, leaving the southern ground as a forgotten marker of prayer and endurance. People may have knelt there until weight and years dragged the stone from sight, but the earth still holds the shape of that repeated devotion.
