Bullaun stone in Moyvannan is a bullaun stone in Moyvannan, County Roscommon, Ireland. In 1958 a beehive quernstone and a rather shapeless stone basin which may be a bullaun stone were found in a field where there was a tradition of a church. The basin appears from photographs to be a large rather shapeless boulder with a straight-sided basin. It is too large to be the base of a pot-quern or the font now kept at Lisbaun, and its present location is unknown.

In 1958 a beehive quernstone (RO048-041002-) and a rather shapeless stone basin which may be a bullaun stone were found in a field where there was a tradition of a church (RO048-041001-) (NMI file). The basin is not described, but it would appear from photographs to be a large rather shapeless boulder(ext. dim. c. 0.6m) with a straight-sided basin (dim. c. 0.3m; D c. 0.15m). Likely dating to the early Christian period, the bullaun stone may have been used for ritual purposes, such as anointing with holy water or as part of ecclesiastical practices associated with the nearby tradition of a church.
