Bullaun stone in Legnahoory

Three apparently artificial depressions occur on rock outcrop here. (i) a circular depression .21m in diameter and up to .09m deep. (ii) 2m to the E is a flat-bottomed circular depression .22m in diameter and 0.03m in depth. (iii) 20m to the E is another flat-bottomed circular depression .21m in diameter and 0.02m in depth. There is much furze-covered rock outcrop here on which other similar features might be found. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
