Killough East holds Tobairín Beannaithe, a smooth bowl cut into cliff-top rock where water still collects coins and stones. People once walked rounds there at the end of September, trusting the small well to ease suffering or sharpen life. The stone does not explain itself. It waits beside the gap, patient as skin, ready to give back some of the heat and intention poured into it.

On a cliff-top, on the E side of Bealbarnish Gap. A smooth-sided bowl-shaped depression (0.62m N-S; 0.55m E-W; D 0.3m) carved in the bedrock is filled with water and contains coins and stones. According to local information, this bullaun stone is known locally as a holy well named 'Tobairín Beannaithe' and rounds were formerly made here at the end of September.
