Killanin and Duignan recorded three bullauns on Inchagoill, including this small boulder set into the altar of Templenaneeve. Its shallow basin, barely large enough for a cupped hand, suggests repeated use rather than random weathering. Perhaps a priest washed hands there before prayer, or a visitor drank rainwater collected in the stone. The church still stands around it, preserving the shape of that forgotten routine.

This is one of three bullauns (see also GA040-013005- and GA040-013007-) noted on Inchagoill by Killanin and Duignan (1962, 170). It is located on the altar of the church, ‘Templenaneeve’, (GA040-013004-) and consists of a small boulder (L 0.3m; Wth 0.2m; H 0.12m) with one basin (0.14m x 0.12m; D 0.08m).
