The stone leans against the eastern wall of Dundarirke graveyard, half-buried and eightynine centimetres tall, with a shallow circular depression near its base. Unlike most bullaun stones worn smooth by repeated touching, this one shows concentric rings of peck marks, as if someone struck or chipped the hollow rather than rubbing it. That difference suggests prayer, marker-making or deliberate shaping instead of passive wear. The grass and ivy around it have been cut back recently, so the place is still tended even though its exact purpose has faded from local memory.

This stone was reported by Colm Chambers, who describes it as 'leaning against the inside of the eastern wall of Dundarirke graveyard (CO070-083----). The stone is upright and partially buried. The grass and ivy around the stone appear to have been cut back recently. The stone is 85cm tall and is roughly 25 to 30cm thick. At ground level the stone is 105cm wide. Just above ground level at about the midpoint of the stone there is a circular depression of about 30cm in diameter. The depression has a maximum depth of about 13cm. The depression appears to have been created by a ‘pecking’ process, as concentric rings of peck marks are visible within the depression, rather than by abrasion or polishing (as is more common with bullaun stones.'
