The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 1 June 2011 Revised by: Claire Breen Large granite boulder with three large basins (average diam. 0.3m; D 0.2m). Now lying immediately W of bridge and S of road but probably belonged to nearby ecclesiastical remains. See CW009-028008- for present location.
