On N side of public road leading from Glencolumbkille to Meenacross with Murlin River across the road to the E. A circular-shaped water-filled hollow (diam. 0.23m; D 0.15m) is cut into the upper surface of rock outcrop (1.1m x 0.8m)

Likely dating to the early medieval period, bullaun stones were traditionally used for grinding holy relics or ritual purposes, and are often associated with Christian or pre-Christian sacred sites. Local folklore may link the stone to saintly figures or healing traditions.
