On a gentle W-facing slope in improved pasture. A granite boulder (L 1.4m; Wth 1.2m; H 0.46m) has an almost circular water-filled bullaun/basin on its upper surface (diam. 0.46m). Known locally as ‘the wart stone’. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 17 September 2013

Likely dating to the early medieval period, bullaun stones were often associated with Christian or pre-Christian ritual practices, including the healing of warts or skin ailments, reflecting their use in local folklore and traditional medicine.
