A granite boulder (L 110cm; Wth 93cm; H c. 38cm) with a large oval basin (diam. 26-28cm; D c. 16cm) just off centre. Located 15m N from NE corner of wall surrounding church and graveyard. One of three bullaun stones (see also WI018-013001- and WI018-013003-) presently located within ecclesiastical enclosure (WI018-013----). Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 23 November 2012

Likely dating to the early medieval period, bullaun stones like this one were often associated with Christian sites and may have been used for ritual purposes, such as the preparation of holy water or as part of ecclesiastical tradition.
