A granite boulder (L 140cm; Wth 106cm; H c. 42cm) with two deep basins just off centre (basin 1: diam. 31cm; D 20cm; basin 2: diam 28cm; D 18cm) and a shallow depression in E half. Located c. 5m outside of W wall surrounding church and graveyard. One of three bullaun stones (see also WI018-013001- and WI018-013004-) presently located within this ecclesiastical enclosure (WI018-013----). Likely dating to the early medieval period, the Bullaun stone may have been used for ritual purification or as a holy water font associated with a nearby ecclesiastical site. Such stones often feature in local folklore as sites of pilgrimage or magical significance.
