Terraced three-bay three-storey commercial building, c. 1820; public house to ground floor; one of a group, having double pitched roof with parapet wall, painted rendered finish, continuous cill band to second floor and render cornice to parapet, timber pubfront to ground floor, c. 1990, retaining painted stone cills and render architraves to first floor openings, replacement uPVC windows and timber panelled entrance doors, c. 1990; quay frontage.
One of a group of public houses having important and prominent quay-side location. Although altered in detail, this building retains significance as part of the overall scale and character of this part of the quay.
