Terraced three-bay three-storey commercial building, c. 1820; public house to ground floor; one of a group, having double pitched roof with parapet wall, painted rendered finish, continuous cill band at second floor, render cornice to parapet, and timber pub-front with pilasters to ground floor, retaining painted stone cills, render architraves to first floor, timber sliding sash windows, and timber double-leaf entrance door to pub; quay frontage.

One of a group of public houses having important and prominent quay-side location. Although altered in detail, this building retains significance as part of the overall scale and character of this part of the quay.
