Corner-sited end-of-terrace five-bay three-storey department store, built c. 1925. Flat roof with ashlar limestone parapet having centrally placed clock flanked by balustrades. Ashlar limestone walls with moulded eaves course, string course between ground and first floors, and having blind arches to first floor openings with carved panels over openings. Timber sash windows to upper floors, set in tripartite arrangement to upper floors. Fixed display windows and pair of glazed doors to ground floor.

Built in the 1920s to the design of architect Henry H. Hill, this building replaced an earlier department store on the site which was burnt in 1920 along with several buildings on the eastern side of St. Patrick's Street. The building is of apparent architectural form and retains interesting features and materials, such as the timber sash windows, clock, ashlar limestone façade, and the carved stone details which add artistic interest to the façade.
