Two-arch masonry bridge, built c.1800. Random coursed sandstone walls. Limestone coping to parapet. Concrete U-cutwaters added to north and south sides.

This stone built bridge is in keeping with the modest architecture of the area. It acts as a road bridge over the river and links upper and lower Main Street. The use of sandstone in its construction is notable when contrasted with the limestone built canal and road bridges in the vicinity.
