What is recorded here
Brendan Leahy arrived at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin on 28 March 1960, entering the world as the third child of Maurice and Treasa Leahy. His parents carried west County Kerry blood into Dublin primary classrooms, while young Brendan split his childhood between Crumlin, Ballyroan and the long Kerry summers at Ballyferriter. That divided life may have shaped him: a boy at home in more than one Irish landscape, later called to teach, witness and lead across several institutions before becoming Bishop of Limerick.
