What is recorded here

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Branksea (possibly): North Sea as Craft (period Unknown). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Branksea* was a 17th-century English fishing vessel wrecked in the North Sea near the Scottish coast in 1624. It was lost in a storm, with no survivors and its cargo of fish and tackle presumed lost; the wreck is significant as an example of early modern fishing industry activity in the region.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
