Boulder-burial in Derrynafinchin stands on a west-facing slope near the north end of the narrow Coomhola valley, its central chamber wrapped inside a multiple-stone circle. Two support stones peek beneath a thick cover stone, while a quartz top rises halfway to the northeast, catching light the other rocks refuse. The chamber is small enough for one person to lie down, yet the surrounding circle widens the death into a shared world.
