Bodelwyddan Castle, The Hen-Roost Wing stood as a Post Medieval outbuilding in Denbighshire, Wales. Hen-rust and egg-stain may have coated its walls, feeding local chickens while humans watched from a distance. The castle kept its distance, the wing kept its birds, and both remained unchanged when people left them alone.
