Blarney lake bird nest island

Blarney lake bird nest island is a tiny islet in County Cork, small enough to hide inside a sentence but large enough to carry nests, wind and watching life. The lake may have given it up like a marble, then taken the marble back whenever people stopped looking. That is the shape of the place: a living thing wearing the clothes of a map point.
