Bivallate Rath is a two-ditched hillfort in County Fermanagh, built during the early Christian period. Its twin rings suggest a community that valued defence and identity, perhaps separating insiders from outsiders or marking a boundary between the sacred and the ordinary. The earthworks still hold the shape of that choice, waiting for a person to walk the ridge and imagine the hands that dug them.
