What is recorded here

Two concentric earthworks still curve through Ballyminymore, shaping a rare bivallate rath that ordinary farming barely touched. The distinction matters because most local raths use one bank, while this place reserved two circles for whatever lived inside. People may have built the outer line to keep strangers out and the inner line to keep their own fears honest.
