Berneray, Maclean's Point

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Berneray, Maclean's Point as Chambered Cairn (neolithic)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn, dating to approximately 3000–2500 BCE. It represents an early form of communal burial and reflects the ritual practices of prehistoric communities in the Scottish Outer Hebrides.
