Eight-span road bridge, built c.1780, spanning Bealanascartane River. Rendered and exposed rubble limestone piers surmounted by dressed limestone slab lintels and rubble limestone parapets with render copings. Limestone block repairs to sections of southern parapet.
This bridge is notable for being a rare example of a clapper bridge. It is solidly built with rubble stone and serves as a reminder of the skill of the late eighteenth-century craftsmen.
