BAWN (unlocated) in Teemore

BAWN (unlocated)

What is recorded here

No visible trace remains, only a coordinate floating above ordinary ground. That absence is the feature: a bawn may have stood there, cast shadows, and vanished without a ridge or pit to mark its edges. Forgetting did not erase the shape; it returned the shape to the region, where it can reappear in any ordinary place.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as BAWN (unlocated). Recorded period: POST-MED; C17TH. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
