What is recorded here
Mortars and muskets still whisper through Castlecomer, drumgoole, glebe (fassadinin By.) and kiltown (fassadinin By.). Men bled on soil now forgotten, their fear and fury buried beneath grass and time. The land remembers violence even when people stop speaking its name.
