What is recorded here

Saintfield Parks marks the 1798 Battle of Saintfield, a violent clash in County Down during the turbulent late eighteenth century. The ground holds the memory of men charging and falling before guns and steel decided the day. What remains is not a monument but a warning: joy and brutality share the same soil, and forgetting does not erase either.
