What is recorded here
Glen Taisi in County Antrim became a battle site in 1565, marking violent change during the sixteenth century. The glen still holds the shape of that conflict, even if weapons and banners have disappeared. People may have fled, buried others or avoided the valley for generations. Distance does not remove the event; it only stops naming it in everyday conversation.
