Battle of the Medway is a major battle site with a checked map point.
The Battle of the Medway took place in 43 AD during the Roman invasion of Britain, when Roman forces under Aulus Plautius defeated the native Atrebates and Cantii tribes near the River Medway in present-day Kent. The battle was significant as it helped secure Roman control over southern Britain and facilitated the conquest of the island.
