Battle of Ronaldsway is a major battle site with a checked map point.
The Battle of Ronaldsway was fought in 1174 between Scottish forces under King William the Lion and English forces led by King Henry II. The Scottish army was captured following a failed siege of Carlisle, leading to William's subsequent surrender at Alnwick and the Treaty of Falaise, which significantly weakened Scottish independence.
