Battery is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Cashel (castlereagh By., Ballinlough Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered site measures 34.1 metres north-south and 33.5 metres east-west on a gentle south-facing plateau slope. A rebuilt wall defines the boundary, though the outer face of the original cashel wall still survives one point three metres high in the north-east. Modern entrances appear at the west-northwest and northwest, but the wall has collapsed in the southwest.

On a gentle S-facing slope of a plateau. Circular grass-covered (int. diam. 34.1m N-S; 33.5m E-W) defined by a rebuilt wall (Wth 1.8-2.2m; int. H 1-1.3m; ext. H 1.2-1.9m) on the line of the cashel wall, the outer face of which survives (H 1.3m) N-E, and inner and outer facing stones can be seen at the base of the wall all around. There are modern entrances at WNW (Wth 1.1m) and NW (Wth 3.2m), but the wall has collapsed S-W. Cashel (RO025-008001-) is 110m to the NW, the possible cashel (RO025-009----) is 180m to the ENE, and building (RO025-011001-) is c. 100m to the SW.
